about

Lavender Bells was written by Jordan White in the summer of 2008 in Speculator, NY, a small camp-town in the southern Adirondacks. The song was originally the first part of a three-part trilogy which followed the time-less, space-less journey of the song’s lead character through an intriguing natural landscape filled with mystery, wonder, and a healthy dose of self-discovery. With the other songs in the trilogy lost to time, Lavender Bells remains as the only surviving piece of that project, now reborn with a new home in the Rusticator catalog.

about

Rusticator Albany, New York

Rusticator is an acoustic band with an Americana spirit. Stripped back drums and an upright bass lend a woody backbeat, while steady acoustic guitar supports jazz-inflected fiddle playing and the group’s three-part harmonies.

Rusticator has been featured at Saratoga's First Night and the Freedom Park Concert Series. Their songs have been included on WEXT’s top Local 518 songs for 2015 and 2017.
